Must be more/other factors. I am CC and started going gray before early 30's (actually silver white); my daughter is already showing gray in her 30's.

My dad went bald first before he went grey. And he still has some non-grey hairs. I can't tell because he doesn't have a lot of hair, lol. My mom started getting some greys just now (she is nearing forty).

I found one or two pieces of grey hair in my head when I was 17, because it was my last year in high school and I was really stressed out. I haven't seen more grey hairs. I think your lifestyle may influence the amount of grey hair you have. But who knows?

All the samples I have are CC.
I wish I had one of my uncles tested -- his hair went jet white hair in his 30s.

Dont think I will try garlic any time soon... I dont really mind going gray, but I think many women feel bad about it...although gray hair is fashionable here now, on women at least and many dye their hair gray..

Sprinkling of grey hair coming through now (32 years old).

Slightly less noticeable are the odd white hairs coming through in stubble (black to brown/red and then white).

My original hair color was very red. In my early 30's it started turning lighter towards strawberry blond, in my early 40's more blond, over the next decade it went totally white.

My mother and I had white patches in our red hair, her's was front right side, mine was in back of head on the right, oddity is called, Polisis. Genes do funny things

Found all around Europe in varying amounts (highest Irish, Jews, Komi Zyrians and Orcadians), but not in all Near Easterners or South Asians. East Asians, Siberians and Native Americans probably don't have it at all without recent admixture.

edit: a closer look suggests it's not really South Asian either, absent in balochi, brahui, kalash, keralite, bengali.
