Wasn't the updated Narasimhan's paper about Central and South Asia supposed to be out in a couple of week nearly three weeks ago?

I know we've recently received some ancient Levantine and Iberian (as well as Hellenistic) samples to play with... but anyone knows when will the Hannah Moot paper is due to be released? And more importantly - when will we see paper about the Philistines ?!

So, let's see how it's going. Here is the map of samples with more or less good coverage from already published papers:

As you can see, there are many empty areas, particularly noticeable for me are the three highlighted ones:

    1) France.

    2) Belarus, Western Russia, Northern Ukraine.(there are some samples from Russia, but they are either Paleolithic or Medieval)

    3) Mesopotamia.

I am especially interested in 2 and 3. I have heard some rumors about projects investigating aDNA from these areas, but haven't seen anything substantial.

Good stuff. It'd be nice to also have more from the corridor between 1 and 2 -- There might be a lot of P312/Beaker/CWC answers in that area.

What a shame, "La Grande Nation" is really the genetic black hole of Europe.

We nonetheless expect a few results in the coming months: the Celtic Princess of Vix (6th century BCE) and a handful of individuals, from Neolithic to Iron Age.

Well, at least in Italy we have preprints(about Sardinia and Sicily IIRC) and announcements(Moots talk).
