How Much Will It Tell Me?

If I get the test how much will it tell me?

For example, if I get the test for autosomal DNA how far back does it go? Or will it merely test me against the index of currently existing populations?

If you get the whole Chromo2, you will get a pretty thorough test of y-dna SNPs, although not as extensive as FTDNA's Big Y, and an extensive autosomal dna test with, yes, comparison to current population groups. If you add the Red Head Test to that (worth doing, IMHO), you will get the most extensive test of red hair variants available. You will also get a thorough mtDNA test.
