    My AncestryDNA vs GEDMatch Discrepancy?

    Hi everyone,

I got my AncestryDNA results and got 91% South Asian results, but GEDMatch tells me I'm way less South Asian and more West Asian and partially Atlantic Baltic.

Also, I did some 1 chromosome painting using the one-to-many analysis and I'm totally lost on what I'm doing there. Why do I get DNA comparisons with people from West/East Europe?

My origin is Pakistani. My parents always told me I was Punajbi, but I'm getting Balochi results as well.

Can we please talk about the different projects? Which one am I supposed to NOT use and which ones predict my results the best? Since I am from South Asian background are the Dodecad project, MDLP, Eurogenes, etc. projects invalid for me? Or could I still use those?

Thank you. Can I post my kit # here?

I've heard Jatt passed around or Brahaman. I really don't know exactly what that all means though. I kind of know what Jatt is. But, this would be nice to learn about as well. My mom told me she was born in Baloch so that would explain the Baloch percent I think.

What does the Oracle mean exactly? Are they saying I'm all of those?

I had no idea that there were Jatt clans. Wow. Can my DNA analysis tell me what clan I may belong to?

I'm thinking about learning more about myself from haplogroups.

Also, yesterday I did a one-to-many comparison and I found 1364 people that matched my DNA. What does that mean?
