It's not really CT. That's just where the classification stops due to a lack of data.

Now it's 80% replacement? This gets more and more interesting. Then again, industrialization of the east from more westward immigrants could have caused a further balancing shift, or the 40% number in Eastern England may have always been too low.

Another north European branch under Z220 is S21184+ which has a similar non-southern European distribution.
I ran WEZ59 through an analysis. It is ancestral (negative) for Z220 hg19 position 16310705. It is derived (positive) for Z272 hg19 position 22440376. I wish people would stop using longhand names. It causes too much confusion.

Do you have a way to present your reports with the shorthand name of the specific derived SNP along with longhand names?

Was VK333 already identified as DF19? I'm downloading the file now. Hopefully I can analyze it today.

Yes! Thanks to Sheepslayer, his uniparental breakdown is now in the separate thread, here:

^^ Turns out our lines split off only one SNP level above the subclade containing my 5 official Big Y700 matches and he's also the same subclade as my (non Y-line) British colonist 9th greatgrandfather

Can you link the source for this? very interesting.
Paper trail ancestry to the best of my knowledge:
English (possibly containing some Welsh ancestry) 31.25%, Scottish 17.96%, Scotch-Irish 12.5%, Eastern German 12.5%, Eastern European (Likely Polish possibly including Romanian) 12.5%, French 7.81%, Native American (Saulteaux and Assiniboine) 2.34%, and Colonial American, 3.125%, which cannot be traced with certainty. With certainty, there is Dutch (at least 1.36%) and some English.

Will do. There's 3 R1a > CTS4385 > L664 but no R1a > CTS4385 > FGC9988. VK414 from Norway looks to be R1a > PH12 like my Allison lineage and this SNP is dated to 850AD and VK414 is dated to 10-11th Century making him close kin to my ancestor. I've analysed several R1a samples of interest and started downloading R1b samples now. Hopefully get a chance to analyse them over the weekend. ;-)
