Stevenses E-Z841

There are several E-Z841 persons in the Stevens/Stephens surname project. Their characteristical DYS values are 14 24 13 10 16 17 et al.
Based on their genealogy I trace them all to Thomas Stevens (born 1623 or 1618 and died 19 Aug. 1658), descendant of John Stephens (1540-1609) of Wiltshire County, England

According to Charles Ellis Stevens. Stevens genealogy. Some descendants of the Fitz Stephen family in England and New England, Ralph Fitz Stephen after 1189 bestowed the manor upon the Abbey of Stanley in Wiltshire. Ralph Fitz Stephen was a great grandson Airard Fitz Stephen.

Airard Fitz Stephen, a nobleman of Normandy, was placed by William the Conqueror in command of the " Mora", the ship presented by his Duchess and eventual Queen, Matilda of Flanders, for his personal use in the fleet conveying the Norman forces to England for the battle of Hastings, 1066.

Airard Fitz Stephen was the son of Étienne Comte de Blois, comte de Champagne

He traced his genealogy to Thebaldi Comte Chartres (born 777)

What do you think about idea that Stevenses (E-Z841) are the descendants of House of Blois?

Airard Fitz Stephen is a popular figure for various Stephens/Stevens lines to claim as an ancestor. I'm not sure anyone has a bona fide claim on him though.

I don't claim him for my own R1b line, especially since I can't get past my third great grandfather for now.

but most of the chances all those nobels were primarly
r1b such a common haplogroup
the chances are against e1b1b1 especially in those area of britain and normandy it is not common there at all.

Yes, it is just a speculation now.
My arguments are:
1) TMRCA of E-Z841 Stevenses is abt. 1000 years and their cluster is marked as E-M34-C at Haplozone Project.
2) All of E-M34-C origin from South West England/Wales/Ireland
3) Their ancestor migrated to South West Britain abt. 1000 years. It fits to Norman conquest of England (11th century)
4) To proove the hypothesis of de Blois/de Champagne close matche from France are needed.

test on his remains to confirm it .

That is certainly a reasonable argument. You could be right.
