What do you mean? Certain Anglo-Indians may have married Indian Muslims who were of (partially) Pashtun ancestry if that's what you're asking.

This would have been 17th or 18th century. I'm 1.2% Pashtun. I'm guessing that it's got to do with Surat or Bombay and the East India Company.

This is not showing Pashtun ancestry. It is just showing increased Caucasian/Central Asian affinity compared to the British average but this could come from many groups not directly related to Pashtuns.. Also Indian Pathans are genetically clustering with Indian South Asians in most cases and dont show that much affinity to Pashtuns.

Living DNA calls it South Asian. In any case, I wouldn't know how Pathans would be in EIC ports, while someone else said it is definitely not Parsi, so I don't know what population I would be able to source it to. I don't have any Eastern Europe ancestors, except for Protestant Croatian emigrés from Austria, probably from Ragusa and Dalmatia, because of Aegean DNA. Although I know of both that and the Pashtun DNA are from my mum's side, by looking at her sister's Gedmatch kit, I couldn't isolate this particular DNA source. I have been told that there was Indian blood, but that's it. If true, Pathans were in the NWFP and nowhere near the coast.

Pashtun could represent anything from Iran to South Central Asia to northern India in your case. I don't know what's normal for LivingDNA so I can't comment there, but you can copy and paste your gedmatch results here from calculators like Harappaworld and Eurogenes (K36, ANE K7, K13).
