HV in South Asians?

Just had my wife tested on 23andme - reported as 'HV'

Her background is Bengali .. haven't come across much online re: HV? Is it common in the sub continent?

As you can see there are lots of South Asians with this linage..

My Paternal grandfather's mtdna is HV2 . Is this subclade specific to South Asia ? I have seen South Asians with HV2 are mostly north indians . only one other HV2 South indian I found who is also Kerala Christian . Most HV's in south India seem to be HV14 .
