    Hi I'm new here can you pls help me read my results? It seems I'm Haplogroup G2a P15 but with this marker are the subclades. Im not sure of how they work.

    Welcome to the forum Alex. P15 is the SNP which defines the haplogroup G2a, as you can see on the tree of haplogroup G here: http://isogg.org/tree/ISOGG_HapgrpG.html

    As you will see, G2a has a lot of subclades. You will not know if you fit into any of them unless DNA.land has tested your sample for the many SNPs which define those subclades. I'm afraid that I know nothing about the DNA.land test, so I cannot help there.

    I can give you a little introduction to G2a. It was most probably born in Western Asia among the people who first developed farming. You can see subclades of it in my online table of ancient DNA from the Near Eastern Neolithic: http://www.ancestraljourneys.org/was...ithicdna.shtml
    It arrived in Europe with the first farmers, as you can see in my online table of ancient DNA from the European Neolithic: http://www.ancestraljourneys.org/eur...ithicdna.shtml
